Bandana Peace Foundation

Bandana Peace Foundation is a registered non-profit organization established in 2011, working across Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, West Bangal and Maharastra in the fields of women’s empowerment, livelihood promotion, Financial Literacy, Community Development and health awareness. With a decade of grassroots experience, the Foundation has trained over 800 women in various vocational skills and maintains close working relationships with SHGs under NRLM and NULM frameworks.

Foundation has also organised more than 30 free health check up camps, health talks and nutrition awareness programmes. It has successfully implemented CSR-funded programs in partnership with leading corporates and government agencies ( Canara Bank, UPL, DAY-NULM, Charak and Suruchi group of institutions ) .

President of Bandana Peace Foundation is a retired Divisional Manager of Canara Bank. he worked in different departments including financial inclusion, HRM and Advances. he has also done skill development trainings under CED programme of Canara Bank. he did Shramik Chaupal and labour awareness programmes with Dattopant Thengadi National Board for Workers Education and Development ,Ministry of Labour and Employment, Govt of India. He has also worked for SHG formation under NULM. He also arranged health check up camps with Charak Hospital and research centre Lucknow and also did health check up camps in NOIDA under CSR project of UPL Noida.
